December Daily sneak

I'm currently working on my December Daily. I have about half of the album completed and I'm working on the filling the first few days with pics.

I should have more to share tomorrow. Right now I'm enjoying some family time. We came home from church and had a wonderful breakfast/lunch.
Pancakes. Bacon. Eggs. Yum! The only thing missing was maybe some biscuits & gravy. Double yum!

The kids are making presents :) and we're going to finish start decorating the tree. It's been up for a week with lights on it but no decorations. So we need to fix that!
And in the midst of all this my washing machine broke so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my handy husband can fix it. Cause a new one is not in the budget right now! It's 10+ yrs old and this is the first time we've ever had an issue with it.

I also have an etsy shop update. Finally. Whew!! The shop is open! I will be listing items for the next week and updating here. Currently I have a few December Daily/Christmas Album kits in the shop.
2 of them sold before I could post about the kits so you have to be quick! You can 'like' my facebook page to get updates - click on the link in my sidebar ----------->>>

I'm also working on some fun holiday pillows and some December Daily/Christmas embellishment kits. So stay tuned...

Oh, and one final thing...I updated my playlist to Christmas music. I don't have it autostart cause I find that annoying when you go to someone's blog and music starts blasting and you can't find where to turn it off! It's on the sidebar ------>>>
Just click the play button and it'll start :)

back from FL

Last we spent Thanksgiving in FL with my husband's brother and his wife. My in-laws live down there, too. We had a lot of fun and my kids had even more fun spending time with their 2 cousins. We don't get to see them much since we live in different states but it was nice that they got to spend several days together.

On our drive down were were happy to see that education is thriving in Valdosta, GA...
Anyone see what's wrong with this picture?? What's even funnier is at least a few people had to see this and think it was ok.

Thanksgiving was full of lots of yummy food...
Friday I managed to make it out for a little bit of Black Friday sales. I did not, however, go out at midnight or 4am and battle the stores with everyone else. I think I was scarred for life after the Toys R Us fiasco last year. You couldn't PAY me to step foot in that store on Black Friday again. They had no idea what they were doing...

Anyway, I managed to snag up some gifts for the kiddos and a big 'ol George Foreman grill. It was regularly $50 but I got it for $23. I have one of the original ones from over 10 years ago. It still works great but I needed a bigger one and I love that the plates come out of the new ones for washing. Gonna heat up that bad boy tonight!

Saturday we headed down to the Alligator Farm in St. Augustine. My kids loooved it. They even got to hold a baby 'gator...
And trying to get a decent picture with my kids. I usually get 10 of these...
Before getting one of these...
The rest of the weekend was spent hanging out, playing outside, getting pedicures (only for the girls of course) & eating some oh-so-yummy sweets.
What cracked me up the most were their dogs. They have 2 boxers, one is a puppy. Our dog Jesse was *not* thrilled with the puppy. I had to snap a couple pictures of this. It was too funny!

**Disclaimer - no puppies were harmed during these pictures**
Doesn't my dog look like she's about to maul that puppy?? HA!! She never bit her but she wasn't pleased.
And their other dog...check out what I found the last night we were there...
hehe I love dogs :)

We got back last night and now I'm in the post-vacation exhaustion. Now it's time to get the Christmas decorations up and start getting ready for Christmas, birthdays and our Disney trip!

************************************
Today I had my last ultrasound with my fertility doc. My next appt will be with my regular ob/gyn. It is amazing that at just under 11 weeks you can now see arms & legs.
He/she was sleeping but then I laughed about something and then little peanut started moving all over the place like a little wiggle worm!! Babies are truly God's greatest miracles.

new in the shop!

It's been a while since I've added some new items to my etsy shop. It's not that I haven't been working on things. But the craft show a few weeks ago kept me pretty busy. I do have some goodies left from that along with some new items that I'll be adding next week.

Christmas Clipboards - these are my favorite. I have a non-seasonal one that I have hanging in my kitchen all year. Then I switch it out for a holiday one in November. The notepads are on magnets so you can easily grab one off to jot down things.
I have 3 of these left:

All of my holiday towels with the exception of these sold out at the craft fair I did. But I'm working on some more and should have them in the shop soon. I added a cute ruffle at the bottom of the towels :)
I also have one of my Christmas 'What-Not' Bags left using this fun fabric which I just *love*
Flower Rosette Notebooks - these are fun little notebooks with a pretty flower added to the front. Great for teachers!
I'm working on a few more holiday items that will be in the shop by next week. Also, I have an awesome sale going on on Black Friday. Be sure to head back here to find out the details!!

new wreaths in the shop!

Despite the fact that the weather here in southern GA isn't anywhere near Fall-like (hello, we're still in the mid-90s!) I've been getting in the Fall mood. And I've been working on some cute little Fall wreaths for my shop. I have a few 8" and 12" wreaths. Here's a few pics. You can head here to purchase!

summer burlap wreath revisited

It's time to change up the decor again. Time for pumpkins & pumpkin spice candles (mmm!!), crunchy leaves, gourds, and...fall wreaths. But before I take my summer wreath down, I thought I'd show you how it has 'aged' over the past 7 months.

So here's what it looked like back in February...
And check out how it looks now after several months on my front door...
See how the burlap has changed color? And how it has curled up a little?? Not sure what made it change color but I LOVE it :) I love how it still looks pretty but doesn't look so 'brand new' anymore.

And now Mr. Summer Burlap Wreath, it's time for you to retire until next year...

By the way, I've been working on some fun Fall/Halloween goodies for my etsy shop. Here's one of the wreaths I've finished up and is in the shop right now:
Edited to add - this wreath has already sold out
but I'll have more in the shop soon!!
Just a whimsical, fun little Halloween wreath :) I'm also working on some wooden signs and hopefully we'll get the rest of them cut this weekend. Or, I should say, my husband will get them cut this weekend so I can get them painted!

Have a great weekend everyone!!

new in the shop!

I've been working on some fun stuff for the shop that I'm really excited to share! I like to dabble in all kinds of craftiness...sewing, scrapbooking, home decor, etc. So when I opened up 24 Olive Street I had intentions on sharing a little bit of all of that.

So here's a few fun things that are new to the shop:
I am in love with these fun little tea towels that I've been working on. This fabric just speaks to me in my favorite color combination. And what better use for that key lime basket than for some cute towels?! There is a listing for the basket with towels along with a separate listing for just the towels. But I only have 2 baskets so once they're gone, they're gone!

I also made this cute quilted purse from those same wonderful fabrics:

This purse is a made to order item ~ meaning, it will be crafted after time of purchase. Wait time is 5-7 days (but usually less than that).

And remember this 2 tier metal stand??
Well I found another one!! So, you guessed it, I gave it a new coat of key lime green paint and it's in the shop!

I may have a small addiction to key lime green paint right now :)

There are many camera straps in fun bright colors

Do you remember this printer's tray summer photo collage I made a couple months back??

Well, I'm so excited that I managed to snag up a few more of these great trays while on my thrifting trips, so I put together a few kits. And each one will be different. I've already sold the large kit but there's still 2 smaller printer's tray kits left.

I love collecting vintage books, cards, etc and I'll be putting together listings for some fun goodies..

If you haven't joined my facebook page, head over here. When we hit 100 people who 'like' the shop I'll be doing a giveaway. Hint - the giveaway won't be anything that's in the shop right now. I'm working on what that will be and I'll post pics soon!
