I love the redbirds. And there seems to be a ton of them in the south. Or at least there is in my yard. I found this guy in my feeder this morning
but I think he was mad at me that the feeder is almost empty cause he kept his tail to me the entire time.
See...
I also had a pretty blue finch in my feeder
but you'll have to take my word on it that he was blue cause with the shadow you can't tell.
Then there was this guy
he kept pushing the sparrows off the feeder. But no worries, they always come back :)
Guess I need to go refill the feeders so I can continue to see and enjoy my feathered friends.
And while I was watching the birds I worked on a book for my son
ever since we got Jurassic Park on Netflix last week he's been drawing pictures from the movie in his notebook. Well, no son of a scrapper can be reduced to drawing in a plain 'ol store bought undecorated notebook!! No, no. So I made him his own Jurassic park book with Basic Grey's Archaic papers (of course!)
I didn't embellish the front too much, cause, well, it's going to be used by a 5 yr old. A 5 yr old boy. Who's rough and tumble. Although I have to say he takes care of his books pretty well.
I think he's happy with it. What do you think?
And the first sketch...
In case you can't tell, that's the first time they saw the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park 2 when they're standing on a log.
And don't forget, the giveaway is still on. I'll probably be drawing a name around 7-8pm EST tonight!!
The only other thing I have to say is TGIF!!!!
