Today was my last Monday to sleep in. We're on the countdown to school...Olivia starts on Wednesday and Ben starts next Monday. That will mean getting 2 kids to school by 8, and at 2 different schools. And I am *so* not a morning person. I mean, I'm not grumpy or anything (for the most part!). I just don't like to get up early in the morning and I have such a hard time of it no matter what time I go to bed. My body just likes to sleep in til 10! And I've been spoiled this summer because it's the first summer since I think before I had kids that I could actually sleep in most days. My kids would just climb into bed with me in the morning and if it wasn't too early they just turned on the cartoons and layed there with me til we all got up. Yep, this is going to be a long week!
Today we met Olivia's teacher for 1st grade. She got the teacher she wanted she she's happy about that. Plus, there's 2 kids from last year and another one she knows in her class so I think that put her a little at ease about starting school. She's been so nervous about going back...lots of tears have been shed in the last week. She'd much rather stay home with her mommy! But I'm sure this year will be like last year, after a couple months she'll get used to the routine and be fine.
And here's a few layouts that I did the other day. They're all from the past Studio Calico kits. I figured I'd better get moving since August's kit is coming this week :) More scrappy goodness!!!

Plus one comment from Renay, since she saw your blog thru mine: Loved Michelle's blog, I cracked up, as I had also realized the same thing about gardens and window gels that same week...the coffee thing I have known for a long time, at least 20 years!!
