It's getting to be that time again...the end of the school year. End of Sunday school. End of dance. All of that means end of year gifts. My kids have just 2 weeks left of school so that gives me a little time for teacher gifts. But their last day of Sunday School was today so I had to get going on those gifts. I just got the teachers Panera gift cards and made these easy gift card holders:
To make the holder I took a piece of kraft cardstock measuring 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" and scored it at 1 3/4" to make the pocket. Then I sewed it and embellished with ribbon, patterned paper (Sassafras), a brad and journaling spot (Shabby Chic Crafts). The "thanks" stamp is from Everyday Flexible Phrases (Stampin' Up!). BTW, to put the brad on I simply cut part of the prongs off and used a glue dot to add it to the ribbon. (Carol, do the brads look familiar?? They're the ones I snatched out of your stash last weekend!)
I hope you're all having a Happy Mother's Day :)

Too cute, you are so full of awesome ideas....thanks for sharing.
Love the gifts! I had to go back and look at the brads again! So much better than anything I would have come up with. I want to see what you'll do with the Jenni Bowlin things. :)
I saw your gift card holders on Two Peas and love them. So cute - and Panera is the BEST! Thanks for the inspiration to get going on my end-of-year gifts for preschool and Sunday School teachers!
