today...

I just sent 2 kids back to school after being off sick for 2 days. Actually, Ben has been sick off and on since Saturday night. But it was nice having them home. Of course, I don't want them to be sick but I'm not one of those moms that goes crazy after her kids have been home for a day or 2. I like having them around & miss them when they're gone. 

They had their honor awards today & both asked me if they could come home with me. I guess they like being around me, too :)

I am working on some photo editing for a crop tomorrow at Sweet Memories. I haven't been to a crop since the birthday bash so I'm really looking forward to it. Hopefully I can get organized enough to be productive. Here's a just a portion of stuff I cleared out (stuff that's going to my booth at the thrift market):

I spent the last couple days organizing my scrap space & I'm really happy with the progress. I'll share pics of that next week. Olivia liked that there was a clean table she could sit at & use my typewriter :)

The puppy discovered my fabric stash...hoping he'll un-discover that real soon because my fabric storage is not hidden.

Believe it or not, it's really not as disorganized as it looks. Only the top is a mess from moving things around. But I still need to straighten it out a bit.

I'm hoping I can make it tonight to pay respects to a beloved church member who passed away this week. She's the mom of my daughter's Sunday school teacher from last year. I won't be able to make it to the funeral but we will certainly miss her face at church.
