our summer list

Thank you for all of your sweet comments over the last week. It's certainly been tough but we're muddling through, slowly but surely.

Today I thought it'd be fun to make a summer list ~ all of the things we want to do this summer. And after the week we've had, I thought this was perfect. My kids had a lot of fun thinking of things to do. 

I would love to take the credit for this idea, since I do love making lists and all, but I saw this idea idea on Meg Duerksen's blog (you can see the post here). I love the idea of putting everything down on "paper" for all to see. You're much more likely to actually do those things if you're staring at them on a daily basis.

My personal faves:

make a roller coaster (thank you Phineas & Ferb!)

go to Ruby Tuesday on Tuesday

have a rock concert (not sure how that one's gonna happen)

make a (gingerbread) summer house (another one of my daughter's "ideas")

Fun stuff. Can't wait to start!
