Happy New Year!!

I hope you all had a wonderful beginning to the new year. We spent the evening at home. I finished taking down some Christmas decorations while the kids played. Then we watched the ball drop, had a slumber party in the living room with the kiddos & watched Polar Express. A calm night at home with the fam :)

I took a picture of the beautiful moon last night and I thought I'd share.

And now I need to get some things ready for my daughter's birthday. I'm taking her to the American Girl store for lunch tomorrow with my friend Kellie & her daughter Abby. Olivia's picking out her very own AG doll that she's been wanting for the last year. I made her wait til she was 8 since these dolls aren't exactly cheap and I wanted her to be old enough to take care of it and appreciate it. So she's very excited to get her Kit doll...and maybe an outfit or 2 :)
