We use 7th Generation & have a front loader so I tend to use less detergent than if I had a top loader.lauriechttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01055505604530300274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4111554517910800943.post-24248039798630637872010-11-05T11:23:02.253-07:002010-11-05T11:23:02.253-07:00I have migraines and have to use unsented soaps an...I have migraines and have to use unsented soaps and deodorant. My son also has very sensitive skin, so I buy liquid "ALL Free and Clear". I use half the recomended amount and it works like a charm. If something is very soiled I just make sure to pour the soap directly on the stain. If clothes or towels are smelly I add a cup of white vinegar. I cut dryer sheets in half also (if I even use one at all).Michelle C.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4111554517910800943.post-31337422340889622032010-11-04T15:01:29.187-07:002010-11-04T15:01:29.187-07:00I use a bit less than is recommended but now that ...I use a bit less than is recommended but now that I read your tip, I need to try less. My favorite detergent is Surf. I buy it at Sam's and it lasts a long, long time.Paula@SweetPeahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00159609759110718249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4111554517910800943.post-75618065986217230072010-11-04T10:21:22.639-07:002010-11-04T10:21:22.639-07:00So many detergents are full of fillers. It is a lot pricier but you need such a small scoop that it lasts a long time.Chellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16847253312034698406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4111554517910800943.post-63531710499976752362010-11-04T09:10:49.457-07:002010-11-04T09:10:49.457-07:00I use liquid ALL and I always use half the amount....I use liquid ALL and I always use half the amount. Additionally, it's good for the environment too because you're not putting so much detergent into the waterways. It seems like my mom and I rarely buy detergent, one time we even wrote the date on the bottle to see how long it would last!Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05872696136446409255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4111554517910800943.post-67729244519240360762010-11-04T08:54:27.113-07:002010-11-04T08:54:27.113-07:00With ALL the laundry I do, I go through a 50oz thi...With ALL the laundry I do, I go through a 50oz thing of liquid Tide a month. That is using 3 tbsp per load, sometimes less if it is a not so full load.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01349090864416837385noreply@blogger.com
